1. The Paper Ballots Hand Counts At The Polls On Election Day Act
(a heavily modified version of Rep.
Dennis Kucinich 9/27/06 HR 6200)
- The State shall conduct the election using
paper ballots only.
- The State shall require that the ballots are
counted by hand by election officials at the local precinct, and a
representative of each political party with a candidate on the ballot, as well
as any interested member of the public, may observe the officials as they
count the ballots.
- The State shall prohibit any machine at local polls for the purpose of voting or vote counting of the
ballots.
- The State shall prohibit the use of voting
machines and paper ballot scanners
- The State shall prohibit the initial count
of ballots at central counting locations, such as county seats or city halls.
- The State shall allow Americans whose
permanent residence is in a foreign country, or who are employees of the
U.S. government who are based in a foreign country, or members of the
U.S. military who are based in a foreign country or on a military ship
at sea, to register, vote, and have their votes counted at polling
precincts established for that purpose and located only in U.S.
embassies, consulates, overseas military bases and on military ships.
2. The Election Day Voting Act (Note: Some people may not agree with this legislation, but please don't let that

Election Day only
- The State shall not allow early voting
- The State shall not allow absentee
voting
